Overview
This visa is designed for recent engineering graduates to reside, work or study in Australia as long as 18 months. A completed degree or higher education from a set-out institution within the past 2 years is required.
You can have chance to work in Australia and if you can satisfy certain criteria while holding this visa, you may be able to apply permanent residence visa. You may not be able to apply second Skilled – Recognised Graduate visa, so you need to apply another visa to stay longer.
You can:
- Include family members in visa application with certain conditions
- Be inside or outside Australia when applying for this visa
- Travel in-out Australia as many times as you wish
Eligibility
You must:
- Be under 31 years of age
- Have achieved required score in English test
- Meet health requirements
- Meet character requirements
- Not have a cancelled visa or a refused visa application in the past
- Also satisfy some other criteria as set out in law
