Visa Counsellor (counselling and sales) - Skilled Migration Australia
About this role:
We are seeking a dedicated, knowledgeable and skilled Visa Counsellor specialising in Skilled Migration visa process to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in immigration consultancy, excellent communication skills, and a proven track record in sales and client management.
Responsibilities:
Duties may include but not limited to:
- Undergo the process and etiquettes training.
- Practice and follow the instructions & training; and apply your own personal skills.
- Consult clients to gather detailed information about their cases. Assess eligibility for skilled migration.
- Provide thorough and accurate information to clients based on training provided. Explain criteria, fees, and other requirements related to visa applications.
- Handle face-to-face, phone inquiries and online meetings, providing basic information.
- Make telephonic calls to leads/inquiries from various sources to increase sales.
- Follow-up to convert leads and inquiries into sales.
- Prepare fee quotes and any other necessary information.
- Maintain cordial relations with clients and colleagues.
- Actively participate in business promotional activities, including promotional videos.
- Perform data entry in computer software. Handle documentation, scanning, and filing tasks.
- Maintain accurate and confidential client records and immigration files.
- Ensure high satisfaction levels of clients by building strong relationships.
Position Requirements:
- Minimum bachelor’s degree in any field (preferably in business or marketing/sales).
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (word, excel, power point)
- Fluent in English
- Knowledge of immigration laws, regulations, and policies, especially related to skilled migration is preferable. Proven experience in counselling about immigration processes is added advantage.
- Proficient in using relevant software applications and tools for documentation and data management.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Visa Process Executives (student / migration)
About this role:
As a Visa Process Executive, you will play a crucial role in assisting clients with their admission and visa applications and ensuring all processes are handled efficiently and accurately. You will be responsible for understanding criteria, managing client documentation, verifying information, preparing application and liaising with clients to ensure successful visa processing. Your attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and problem-solving abilities will be key to your success in this role.
Responsibilities:
- For student visa clients – understand the criteria of enrolment (admission) and visa applications.
- For skilled migration clients – understand the criteria of skills assessments, nomination and visa applications.
- Guide clients in gathering required documents throughout the process.
- Perform documentation verification and background checks to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Prepare and submit error-free applications with competent authorities along with documentation.
- Rigorous follow-up with clients and sub-agents for updates on application process.
- Draft and fill data with accuracy, store and update data according to the operations’ workflow. Maintain the client info database by entering, verifying, and backing up data. Enter, check and verify clients’ data in office I.T. systems.
- Understand the importance of replying authorities on time and act accordingly.
- Ensure all necessary documentation is accurate, complete, and submitted on time.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure a seamless and efficient service delivery process.
- Stay updated on visa regulations, policies, and procedures and advise clients accordingly. Required training will be given.
- Address any concerns or queries raised by clients regarding their applications calmly in a timely and professional manner.
- Maintain strong working relationships with all clients and colleagues.
- If leading a team, train supporting staff to enhance their understanding of rules and regulations to help them fulfill their roles to a high level.
- Actively and effectively take part in business promotional activities (this also include participation in promotional videos).
- May require to work on Sunday if the need arise (such as any special event is organised).
Qualification and Professional Requirements:
- Preferable 1 year of experience in visa processing or immigration services. Freshers may apply.
- Bachelor’s degree in any field.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and effectively.
- Ability to build rapport with clients.
- Detail-oriented approach with a high level of accuracy in document review and processing.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team or lead a team.
- Understanding of data privacy, professional integrity and confidentiality principles.
