Reading, Listening and Writing tests are conducted on the same day whereas Speaking test date and time is intimated by the concerned exam centre and conducted differently. (It could be approximately 2-5 days before or after the booked date of exam).
Listening comprises of 4 sections. There are approximately 40 questions in total. You require to answer all the questions as you listen to the audio recording. You will hear the recording only once. As the test progress, the questions get trickier.
Don’t get panic. There are few techniques and strategies to get through it. We will train you about all these stuff.
Reading comprises of 3 text passages and approximately 40 questions in total. You have to read the passages and answer questions, label diagrams, complete sentences, heading paragraphs or fill gaps. For every type of task there are instructions and examples being given by our tutor.
The not so good thing here is, you must write answers in answer sheet in the given 60 minutes period, no extra time is given. On the other side, good thing is that you don’t need to read whole passages by using and following techniques and strategies taught to you by our skilled tutors.
Writing component comprises 2 sections. First one is to write a letter according to given situation, using approximately 150 words in General Module or write a report as per task given i.e. graph, table or process chart in Academic Module. The second task is to write an Essay on given topic, using approximately 250 words.
This task requires some training and to learn some techniques, but after you write a few reports, essays and letters, as per instructions given to you by our tutor, you will be well equipped and prepared for this task and you will feel confident.
In the first section of Speaking test, the examiner asks you questions about yourself, your work, studies, family and pets, etc. – all your personal matters.
In the second section, you receive a Task/Cue Card with 3 dot points. You will be given 1 minute to prepare. You will speak about 2 minutes. You must cover all points given on card. Later, the examiner may ask few additional questions.
In next section, your examiner will discuss few topics with you. The topic is somehow related to the one from section two (not compulsorily), but it is about more conceptual ideas.
The examiner will record whole conversation.
